Tekkaman

Tekkaman (テッカマン, Tekkaman) is the Space Knight alias via transformation state of those who don the Tech-Set System in the franchise of that same name.

History

Johji Minami protects Earth from the Waldasters with his fellow Space Knights. He is extremely powerful with the Tek Set and always goes into battle with Pegas and his Space Lance.

Transformation Stages

By using the Tech-Set System inside Pegas's body, the transformer's human cells become condensed and strengthened, making him adaptable to all spacial environments. The transformation is processed through the following stages.

1. Johji screams "Pegas! Tech-Setter!, and Pegas responds "Roger".
2. Johji enters the Setter Room stationed on its leg, announcing "Power Up!", closing the door.
3. Holding the Terminal Grip, the transformer's entire body is covered with a strong protector.
4. Johji unleashes the Voltekker where the energy is swirled and injected into the forehead.
5. After the attachment is completed, a special high voltage current is applied to the whole body to condense and strengthen the cells. As a result, the pupil of the eye disappears and glows yellow (this high-voltage current energizes and strengthens the cells, but those who do not match Pegas's wavelength of Pegas will suffer serious burns).

Abilities/Powers

Tekkaman is invincible with the Tek Set and literally cannot die, unless he gets attacked or revert back to normal within 37 minutes and 33 seconds. He was shown to withstand extremely high and low temperatures with relative ease; even temperatures that are hotter than the surface of the Sun. He literally has no practical weakness as it was shown in the series-immune to physical, energy, high temperature, radiation, and attacks in various forms. Space debris and even bullets that fly at great speeds-which are extremely dangerous-simply get deflected when coming into contact with Tekkaman’s armor.

It is said that Tekkaman's physical capabilities are ten thousand times stronger than a normal adult man, though in the show it seems like he is even more powerful. He was shown to be capable of pulling huge Space ships with his strength and in some cases, swing them after catching them with his Space Lariat.

Tekkaman's Space Lance is his weapon of choice. Other abilities and gadgets at his disposal include the Space Lariat, Spur Cutters, Power Crush, and the Voltekka (a powerful beam from his forehead emblem).
